About the TeamTom Lerner & Karen Moussou
By nature, Tom is a counselor and confidant for many going through challenge and transition. It’s not that he necessarily goes out searching for people to help, but they seem to find him in those transitional moments, particularly when they need a supportive person to talk with and someone who can give honest and direct feedback.
During the process of healing from his own alcoholism and childhood sexual abuse, Tom created the Soul Recovery Technique. A Vietnam Era Veteran who served in the Navy, Tom has successfully used this technique with other veterans and abuse survivors.
Engaging and speaking regularly to/with/in churches and groups, Tom’s desire/mission is to help people connect to their inner worth.
Drawing on her skills as a writer and spiritual mentor, and with insights gained through her own recovery from childhood sexual abuse, Karen joins Tom in encapsulating and relating the essence of the Soul Recovery Technique. Her direct and supportive tone contributes to a down-to-earth book that reassures readers of their ability to heal past traumas and confidently become their own best therapist.
Karen’s intuitive and compassionate insight helps people hone in on connecting to their own inner wisdom, and expand their perception of who they can be. Beyond her one on one work with spiritual mentoring, Karen organizes and leads healing meditation groups. Her affirmative CD, entitled Grace, is a compilation of prayers and meditations accompanied by relaxing music and nature sounds.
Diana Greenwood has been creating artwork for as long as she can remember. Through the study of Fine Arts at Ball State University and Indiana/Purdue in Fort Wayne, she honed her skills in work on canvas, illustrations and 3-D art. This has lead to a growing portfolio and displays in numerous Indiana art shows. Turning a client’s vision into something tangible, and seeing the look of joy on the client’s face when they see the finished project is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. Tom’s appreciation of Diana’s artwork is what brought her to this project; her illustrations and visual storytelling have added great dimension to this collaborative effort.
When not on tour or creating music, Mimi Burns, a.k.a. Radiance, helps establish nurturing environments for people to safely reconnect and speak from a heart-centered space. Her warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental way of being is supportive for those exploring their shadow side.
In addition to her contribution to Full Yes Productions SRT workshops, Mimi’s current projects include co-founding the Be Love Community as well as founding the Heart and Soul Learning Community, where young people build their curriculums around their passions to develop/engage within their life purpose.
